Dr.
Stephanie Lillis has been freeing people from pain
in the clinic in Stewartville, MN. As a Chiropractor with
experience, Dr. Lillis is committed to promoting optimal
health and well being of patients.
Dr. Lillis uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Lillis is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Dr. Stephanie C. Lillis D.C. studied at Northwestern Health Sciences University. In 1998 she began practicing with a group of chiropractors in Cincinnati, Ohio. She practiced there for close to five years before returning home to Rochester, MN where she purchased the Jensen Chiropractic clinic- (now known as Advanced Body Chiropractic). Advanced Body now serves the community in 2 Byron, Minnesota as well as Stewartville.Dr. Lillis’ areas of special interest and advanced training include acupuncture, nutritional and supplement counseling, cranio-sacral work, chiropractic pediatrics (and obstetrics), and Special needs. She is able to perform specific adjustments for musculo-skeletal misalignments, and she specializes in treating conditions such as: migraines, fibromyalgia, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee injuries, arthritis, disc bulges/herniations, as well as sprain/strain injuries sustained at work, home or in the car. She consults closely with area medical physicians, which provides her patients with a high comfort level. The theme of the clinic is “appropriate diagnosis, appropriate treatment and therapies, appropriate rehabilitation and stretching exercises, and finally appropriate home care instructions on maintenance”.
I grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and am a 1988 graduate of John Marshall High School. I attended college at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota where I completed my four-year degree in biology. I purchased the Jensen Clinic to be closer to my family and to provide a smaller community in which to raise my 3 children- Connor and Brooke and Brandon . My husband works at Mayo Clinic as a lab assistant.
My hobbies include raising my three beautiful kids- it is truly my favorite hobby and pastime. I love being outdoors (in the summer), as well as reading, exercising, traveling and taking pain out of the corners of people’s lives.
Working here has impacted my entire life, as chiropractic is not just a profession but also a lifestyle. I find it challenging yet rewarding to raise a drug-free family. My job and purpose in this world is to help people to realize that natural is (almost) always better and chiropractic should always be tried first before drugs or surgery. We continue as a population to believe that we know how to chemically change this or that in the body-as if that is a good thing. I am a proud Christian and I believe that “the power that made the body, heals the body- there is no other way!”
